Mrs. Eileen Rud of Camrose passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the age of 85 years.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Gordon, children Renea (Eldon) Oppen of Ohaton and Anne (Howard) Askey of Christchurch, New Zealand. She is also survived by five grandchildren; Becky (Dan) Keohane, Lisa (Chad) Kuefler, Byron Oppen, Nathan Askey, and Sarah Askey, 5 great-grandchildren; Kory, Erin, Brayden, Colby, and Kelci; and one brother Dave (Terry) Taje of Boyle, AB.
Eileen was predeceased by her brothers; Ernest, Melvin, Roy, Bernet, Herb, and Clarence in infancy, and sisters; Edna, Alice, Gladys, Doris, Myrtle, and Lillian in infancy.
Funeral services were held on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. from the First Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Swanson officiating. Interment took place in the Camrose Cemetery.
Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the charity of one's choice.
