Mrs. Irene Murphy of Daysland formerly of Bawlf, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the age of 78 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cheryl (Jim) Mazur of Calgary, Maureen (David) Gerber of Sundre, Cathy (John) Makie of Regina, Jim (Diane) Murphy of Bawlf, Brian Murphy of Camrose, her sixteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Irene is also survived by her sister Myrtle Murphy of Windemere B.C. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill, brother, Melvin Ruthven, and her sister Margaret.
Prayer Services were held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 7:30pm., from Our Lady Roman Catholic Church in Daysland. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, September, 22, 2009 at 1:00pm. with Rev. Leon Kler as Celebrant. Interment followed in the Bawlf Cemetery.
If freinds so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to Providence Place in Daysland.
