Arvid Gottfred Carlson of Camrose, formerly of Meeting Creek passed away on on Monday, September 19, 2011 at the age of 82 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Margaret; children Daren (Lynette) of Sherwood Park, Shelly (Marvin) Collier of Red Deer; four grandchildren Kendra, Brendan, Jordan, Brett. Arvid was predeceased by his parents, three sisters, and six brothers.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Century Meadows Baptist Church with Rev. Brian and Nancy Stiles officiating. Interment took place in the Meeting Creek Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation.
