Gerald Arvid Forsberg was born December 20th, 1946, in Camrose to Raymond and Mabel Forsberg. Jerry lived on the family farm with his six siblings, going to Edberg School and then working in the family business.
Jerry married Marilyn Badry on April 21, 1967, making their home in Edberg with two children, Cindy and Randy. Jerry worked as a licensed mechanic and then pursued his passion in construction, both small and large. Jerry's attention to detail, strong memory and love for recycling made him a valuable resource for his friends and family.
Jerry was predeceased by his wife Marilyn (1988), parents Raymond (1979), Mabel (1986), brother Debbner (2005), sister-in-law Sherry Staggs (2011), and brother-in-law William Staggs (1998). Jerry leaves to mourn son Randy, daughter Cindy (Rick) Stewart, granddaughters Victoria and Savanna Stewart, brothers Elmer (Mary), Arvid (Rose), Ardell (Grace), Leland (Margaret), and sister Diane (Dale) Keitges, as well as many other family members and numerous friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from the Messiah Lutheran Church with Rev. Jason Siemens officiating. Interment followed in the Edberg Cemetery.
