Mr. Hilmer Heggen of Camrose passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the age of 93 years.
Hilmer is survived by his 100 year old brother Henry of Hanna, Alberta; nieces Mavis (Gary) Hamilton of Vulcan, Alberta and Anola (Butch) Moench of Hanna, Alberta; great-nephews and nieces: Steven (Roxann) Hamilton, Darcy Hamilton, Brian (Robin) Moench, and Bonnie Gail Moench; great-great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Eileen Heggen; and numerous cousins and friends.
Hilmer was predeceased by his devoted wife Anne, his parents Martin and Hilda Heggen, brother Oscar, sister Melba and brother Clarence.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2009 from the Messiah Lutheran Church with Rev. David Eriksson officiating. Interment followed in the Camrose Cemetery.
