Evelyn May Olsen was born March 22, 1919 in Ferintosh, AB to Mabel and John Olsen. Evelyn married Bill Coen on October 8, 1941. She passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011 in Edmonton, AB at the age of 92 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Bill of 69 years; children Bruce (Donna) Coen of St. Albert and Murray (Susie) Coen of Edmonton; two grandchildren David and Shauna. Evelyn is also survived by her brother Ralph Olsen of Camrose.
Evelyn was predeceased by her brothers Earl and Cliff.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Camrose Valleyview Cemetery with Pastor Mark Morris officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to The Kidney Foundation of Canada (202, 11227 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, Alberta, T5K 0L5).
