Mr. Leroy Elsworth Johnson of Meeting Creek passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the age of 80 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years Florence; children Roger of Meeting Creek, Marianne (Ron) Kemle of Calgary, Doug (Karmyn) of Camrose; and eight grandchildren. Leroy is also survived by his brother Wilfred (May) of Edmonton; sister Dorothy (Cliff) Hoyme of Camrose.
Leroy was predeceased by his parents and his Aunt Jennie.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Century Meadows Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Penner and Rev. Mark Morris officiating. A Family Interment took place in the Meeting Creek Cemetery.
Memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Samaritan's Purse or the charity of one's choice.
