Mrs. Kathleen "Kay" Rasmussen of New Norway, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2009 at the age of 86 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Larry (Rosemary), Lorne (Laurie), Leona Fredrickson, and Lynne Fredrickson. Kay is also survived by her four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sister Velma Adamson, sister in law Annette Holtner, brother in law Danny McKenzie and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and a host of friends.
Kay was predeceased by her husband Ole, grandson Larry Fredrickson, sister Delores McKenzie, her brother Gerald Holtner, and great nephew Callum Newbury.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday. April 25, 2009 at 2:00pm., from The Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brian Hunter (St. Mary's Hospital Pastoral Care) officiating. Inurnment will follow in The New Norway Cemetery.
If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the charity of your choice.
