Mr. Abram Mackay of Camrose, formerly of Yellowknife, NWT, and Calgary passed away on Monday, November 24, 2008 at the age of 73 years.
Abram is survived by his wife Jeannette; children: Abe (Monique) Mackay of Edmonton, Sylvia (Paul) Pasley of Bigfork, Montana, Walter (Dawn) Mackay of Surrey, B.C., and Patrick (Jessica) Mackay of Duncan, B.C.; as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Abram is also survived by two brothers: Robert (Ria) and Renee (Ann) both of the Netherlands.
Abram was predeceased by his sister Maria, brother Kees, and son Robert.
Funeral services were held on Friday, November 28, 2008 at 2:30 p.m., from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brian Hunter (St. Mary's Hospital Pastoral Care) officiating.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the St. Mary's Hospital Palliative Care.
