Rose Florence Taylor of Camrose passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the age of 91 years.
Rose was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in June of 1923 and eventually moved with her parents and siblings to the town of Winnipegosis where she attended school. She graduated from there, joining the RCAF in 1943. She met and married her husband while in the service.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Arthur "Al"; children Ron (Val) Taylor of Bashaw, Rick (Mary) Taylor of Darwell, Judy (Glenn) Knockleby of Armena, Susan (Kevin) Croutch of Alder Grove, B.C., and Mike (Gaylene) Taylor of Camrose; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and brother Bill (Phyllis) Johanesson of Drayton Valley.
Rose was predeceased by her parents; brother George; two nephews Barry and Robin Johanesson.
A Funeral Service was held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ted Wigglesworth officiating. Cremation has taken place.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Alberta Cancer Society, S.P.C.A., or to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
