Mrs. Josie Gartner of Daysland, passed away on Friday, June 17 2011 at the age of 82 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Rita (Berle) Radchenko of Daysland, Gwen (Gord Bogstie) Gartner of Calgary, Gary Gartner of Daysland, Mary K. (Bernie) Pyra of Whitby Ontario, Joseph Gartner of Chilliwack, B.C., Monica (Phil) Berube of Beaumont, and Sheri (Greg Palmer) Gartner of Devon. Josie is also survived by her thirty-eight grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren, four brothers and five sisters.
She was predeceased by her husband Tony, son Ron, daughter Theresa, four brothers, and two sisters.
Prayer Services were held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 7pm. from Our Lady Of The Prairies Roman Catholic Church in Daysland. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 11am. from Our Lady Of The Prairies Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Len Gartner and Rev. Leon Kler as concelebrants. Interment followed in the Daysland Cemetery.
