Mr. Gordon Jacobsen of Bawlf was born in Camrose on April 20, 1937 and passed away at the Daysland Hospital on Friday, October 31, 2008 at the age of 71 years.
Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jan; two children Justin (Steph) Jacobsen of Bawlf, AB and Tara (Ken) Miller of Sylvan Lake, AB; four grandchildren Hogan, Rya, Tucker and Easton. He is also survived by his sister Helga (Paul) Gushulak; his brother Dennis (Grace) Jacobsen; his special nephew Les (Betty) Jacobsen as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
A Graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in the Bawlf Cemetery. A public time of fellowship and refreshments will follow at the Bawlf Community Hall at 12:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted in memory of Gordon to the Stollery Children's Hospital.
