Neil Ernest MacDonald

(September 18, 1962 - March 20, 2023)

Neil Ernest MacDonald of Bawlf, Alberta, formerly of Prince George, British Columbia, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at the age of 60 years.

Neil was born in Prince George, British Columbia on September 18, 1962. He had two older brothers and one younger sister. He was a very quiet and shy child. After high school, Neil took several vocational and university courses, working various jobs and saving money to take the classes he wanted to take. He worked many jobs in Vancouver, Prince George, and Fort St. John. In the mid to late 90’s, he moved to Alberta and worked different jobs. Neil’s mother gave him the house that he lived in. He then proceeded to fix and completely renovate it. Neil liked working on a stat holiday. He would go into work, find the job site closed, then return home and find a project to do. Aside from work, Neil was also into computer games and listening to music.  He did not like to leave a job unfinished.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Margaret Morrissey; and siblings Malcolm MacDonald of Camrose and Barbara MacDonald of Bawlf. 

Neil was predeceased by his father Alan MacDonald; and brother David MacDonald. 

A Funeral Service was held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Burgar Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating.
