Mr. Gust Tonn of Edmonton, passed away in the Grey Nuns Hospital on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the age of 93 years.
Gust is survived by his wife Nana; children: Julie (Joe) Kirby, Marie Abrahamsen, Jack (Donna) Pawluk, Boris (Leah) Pawluk, Annie Pawluk, Nadia Pawluk, Caroline (Darrell) Vandenburg, Vicky Dancer, Pam (Kim) Jacobs, Robert Tonn, and William Tonn; grandchildren: Raquel (Derek) Feswick, Jaclyn, Pamela, and Martine Kirby, David (Celena), Daniel, and Andrew Abrahamsen, Janna (Ryan) Houle and Mara Pawluk, Kristen, Diedre, and Taylor Pawluk, Marissa Pawluk, Naomi and Jessica Littlewood, Paula, Katie, and Julie Vandenburg, Isaiah and Jonah Dancer, and Jesse and Zachary Jacobs; great grandchildren: Emma and Maya; as well as many relatives and friends.
Gust was predeceased by his parents, seven siblings, and one infant son David.
A public visitation was held on Friday, June 27, 2008 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. from the Burgar Memorial Chapel (4817-51 Ave.) in Camrose. Interment followed in the Camrose Cemetery. Funeral services were held on Saturday June 28, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. from the Knottwood Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Mr. Kirk Nichol officiating.
