Obituary of Paul Schnell

It is with sadness that the family of Paul Schnell announces his passing on Father's Day, June 15, 2008, at the age of 91 years. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Lena, his daughter, Linda (Nick) Parrotta, his son, Rob (Suzanne) Schnell, his grandchildren , Philip (Laura) Schnell, Connie (Mark) Kachkowski, Andrew (Pam) Schnell, Rob (Jerilyn) Parrotta, his three great grandsons, Drew and Cohen Schnell and Jack Kachkowski, Lena's children Linda (Frank) Reid, Anita (Ole) Jensen, Kent (Emelyn) Worden, and grandchildren, Darrell (Chelsey) Reid and family, Bradley (Colleen) Reid, Brenda (Barrie) Tanner, Angela Walker, Terry (Laurie) Jensen and family, Shelley, (Jon) Hassen and family, Nathan and Selena Worden, Paul's two sisters, Margaret (Cliff) Pallesen, Elsie (Bob) Dalton, sister-in-law Mary Jean Schnell, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Velma Schnell, his sister Molly, and his brothers, John (Elizabeth), Bill (Mary), Adam (Bertha), Henry (Joan), Albert (Ann), Edwin and Leo. Paul was a life member of the Elks, Masons, Royal Arch and Eastern Star. He was also a member of the Shriners. Paul was an exemplary gentleman who devoted his life to his family, church and community. He will be remembered for his gentle disposition and positive outlook on life at all times. The family would like to thank the staff at Faith House and the Louise Jensen Care Center for their excellent care of Paul in these last three years. Funeral Services were held Thursday, June 19, 2008, at the Camrose United Church, 4829 50 Street, Camrose, Alberta, at 2:00 p.m., with Mary Ann Pastuck officiating. Memorial contributions will be gratefully accepted to Camrose United Church or the charity of your choice.
