Ashley Carla van Reeuwyk

Ashley Carla van Reeuwyk of Camrose, Alberta, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at the age of 37 years.
Ashley started her life as a source of joy for her parents, in Edmonton, Alberta. She grew up there, training in dance and piano, while attending school.
After graduating from Austin O’Brien High School, Ashley studied Human Ecology at the University of Alberta, earning her Masters Degree. This, and her hard work and determination, led to a successful career with Alberta Health Services.
Ashley married Matt van Reeuwyk in 2010, and had two children, Adria and Jack. She was devoted to her family.
Spending time at the family farm, being with Baba, and cuddling the cats were some of Ashley’s favourite ways to pass time. Cooking, baking, and jewelry making were her favourite hobbies.
More than anything, Ashley loved her life, and her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Matthew; daughter Adria; son Jack; father Barry Stumbo; and grandmother Leona Stumbo.
Ashley was predeceased by her mother Noreen Stumbo; grandfather Jack Stumbo; and Baba Susan Frebrowski.
A private family service was held.
In lieu of flowers, if family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Ashley's memory may be made to the CIBC Bank in trust for Adira & Jack van Reeuwyk.
