Gayle Lynn Edwards

(July 23, 1969 - February 3, 2020)

Gayle Lynn Edwards was born on July 23, 1969 to Barrie and Ruth Fenby at the Royal Alex Hospital, Edmonton.  Gayle took all her schooling in Edmonton.  After school she worked at Fantasyland in West Edmonton Mall, where she met her husband Chris.  Shortly after they were married in 1991, she suffered a debilitating brain injury which left her partially paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair.
They lived in Edmonton before moving to Vegreville then a few years later moved back to Edmonton to be closer to medical care.  She moved back to Vegreville three years ago when her health forced her to become a resident in the Vegreville Long Term Care Centre.

She passed away quietly and peacefully at the Care Centre Monday, February 3, 2020 at 50 years of age.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Chris, and parents Barrie and Ruth Fenby of Camrose, mother-in-law Natalie Edwards and family of Edmonton and Calgary.

Gayle was predeceased by her Smith and Fenby grandparents.

A Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020 from the Century Meadows Baptist Church, 3720 66 St Camrose with Rev. Ed Lehman officiating.
