Dennis Eldon Meadahl

(December 20, 1932 - November 20, 2019)

Dennis Eldon Meadahl of Camrose, Alberta, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the age of 86 years.

Dennis was born on December 20, 1932. Dennis met Joyce Farness at a dance in Ohaton in 1950 and was married in Camrose on November 7, 1952.

Dennis enjoyed being around his friends and family. If help was needed by someone, he was always willing to go out to help no matter what the task was. 

He had a regular schedule of cards and floor curling. He was actively involved in Bawlf, Skudesness and Camrose floor curling clubs, and was a part of the Camrose Elks club. 

Left to cherish his memory are his children Keith (Connie), Karen Simonson, Cheryl (Larry) Young, Randy (Tamika), and Wayne (Beverly); fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; sisters Ruby Sorensen and Ardis (Dennis), and brother and Doug (Judy) and families; as well as many friends.

Dennis was predeceased by his wife Joyce; parents Martin and Mabel Meadahl; and brothers Buddy and Gordon.  

A Funeral Service was held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2019 from the CityLights Church (4920 48 Street Camrose) with Rev. Calvin Skriver officiating. Interment has taken place in the Parkland Cemetery.
