Michael Joseph Hertel

(February 16, 1962 - October 31, 2019)

Michael Joseph Hertel, beloved spouse, father, brother and uncle passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 after a long, arduous battle with cancer at the age of 57. His last hours were spent surrounded by family under the kind, attentive care of the St. Mary's Hospital staff.

He will be missed by his spouse Anita; his daughter Rikki (Thomas); his siblings Carol (Rene), Pat (Brett), Tony, Jim (Susan), and Dan (Stacie); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael was predeceased by his father Arthur; mother Christina; his nephew Brandon; and great-niece baby girl Davey.

All were welcomed to join the family in a celebration of Mike's life on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Alice Hotel Pub at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Cross Cancer Institute.
