Lynn Margaret Brick

(June 3, 1971 - October 24, 2019)

Lynn Margaret Brick of Camrose, Alberta, formerly of Hay Lakes, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the age of 48 years.

Today has been a really devastating day for the Leicht and Brick family and friends, for we are here to mourn Lynn’s life and remember that she would want us to know her as happy and well-loved. With that being said, if you knew Lynn you were very lucky because she is a very special, beautiful, loving, and most joyful person you’ve most likely ever met; but with life being unfair, God told her it’s time to stop fighting, and at 10:00 am on Thursday Morning Lynn Brick passed away with loving people around her. 
For those who know Lynn you know, she definitely out beat the odds of her life. Lynn struggled with a lot in her life she was diagnosed with Glycogen Storage Disease Type Four when she was 2 years old and the doctors said she wouldn’t make it past the age of 5 - then she made it to live all the way to 21 to get that liver transplant, and even then the doctors said that she wouldn’t make it 14 years with that liver but she made it 26 years with that liver and still had three beautiful kids, got married and had crazy adventures. 
So we all want to say thank you for being in her life and helping her make it this far, and helping her smile. She smiled every day no matter what because she knew she was well loved, so we all thank you for joining us today in her honour, she will be missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Charles “Chuck”; children Kailyn Pederson of Kelowna, Clayton of Camrose, and Danica Brick of Camrose; and siblings Bruce (Donna) Leicht of Lloydminster, Debbie (Lyle) Plitt of Rollyview, and David (Kris) Leicht of Edmonton; and parents Harold and Bernice Leicht of Hay Lakes.

A Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 1, 2019 from the Our Savior Lutheran Church, Hay Lakes with Rev. Bonnie Arends. officiating. 

If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Lynn's memory may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital, or to the Liver Foundation.
