Please share a memory of Sherry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Sherry Lynn Michaud

(October 1, 1960 - September 27, 2018)

Sherry was born on October 1, 1960 in Sault Ste. Marie to Bev and Gerry Michaud. Shortly after, they moved to Montreal, closer to Bev’s family. Sherry used to love to spend her summers at her grandparent’s house in the country and became more like a sister to her Aunt Lynn.

During her years in school, Sherry enjoyed high school dances and basketball. In her late teens she moved to Calgary and started a new journey working in retail and had her first son Bradley. Eventually she moved to Fort McMurray closer to family and then had her second son Ryan. Sherry spent the last years of her life living in Camrose once again close to family. As you can see, family was a big part of her life. Sherry passed away in her sleep September 27, 2018.

Sherry will be missed by her two sons Bradley (Shyla) of Leduc, and Ryan of Leduc; grandchildren Preston, Evan, Sutton, and Bentley; her mother Beverly (Brian) Hocker of Camrose; brother Kent (Susan) Lockett, their children Sean, Kayla, and Kendra of Blackfalds; brother Neil Lockett, and his son Ethan of Camrose; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and dear friends.

A Funeral Service was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 6, 2018 from the Burgar Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sherry's memory may be made to Camrose and Area Animal Shelter Society.
