Obituary of Michael Sych

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our dear Mike of Hay Lakes on May 11, 2008 at the age of 88 years. Left to cherish his spirit and wonderful memories are his wife of 52 years Magaret; his two sons Clinton and Terry of Gwynne; his three daughters Debbie (Frank) Walther of Ardrossan, Cheryl (John) Ward of Edmonton, and Shelly of Hay Lakes; two grandsons Christopher (Desiree Sams) and Travis Ward; one great -granddaughter Myrna Ward; and a special little friend Charlise Sams. Michael is also surived by one sister Millie Podgurny of Calmar, two brothers Henry (Sophie) of Camrose, and Paul (Barrie) of Langley B.C., and numerous family members and friends. Michael was predeceased by his parents Harry and Mary Sych, two sisters Irene Demuynck and Bessie Galenza, and three brothers-in-law Marcel, Victor, and Maurice. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 10:30 a.m., from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church in Camrose, with Rev. Len Gartner as celebrant. Interment followed in the Camrose Cemetery. In lieu of floral tributes, donations if desired may be made to S.T.A.R.S. or the Stollery Children's Hospital. The Family would like to thank those for the support at this difficult time.
