Mr. Arie Vanderjagt of Camrose, passed away peacefully with his family at his side, on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the age of 60 years.
Arie is survived by his loving wife Leny; daughters Marielle (Bryan) Layton of Edmonton, and Leah (Scott) Messenger of Edmonton, and his son Cory of Camrose; beloved grandchildren Gabriella and Owen; and his siblings Dirk (Anneke), Ria (Bas) Camp, and Willem (Metta) all of Holland. Arie will be fondly remembered and missed by many friends and family.
Arie was predeceased by his parents.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2008 from Messiah Lutheran Church in Camrose, with Rev. Kenn Ward officiating. Cremation has taken place.
The Family wishes to thank all of Arie's caregivers, especially the staff at St. Mary's Hospital for their kindness and compassion. Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to Centra Cam, or to a local charity of your choice.
