CAMPBELL, ROBERT "BRUCE"
Robert "Bruce" Campbell of Daysland, Alberta, was born on October 2, 1922 and passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the age of 85.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Theresa, his two daughters: Wendy Miller (Mark O'Reilly) of Edmonton, Joan (Al) Holmberg of Sherwood Park, and step-son Donald (Val) Throndson of Edmonton; the grandchildren: David, Michael, and Kari Throndson; Brett, Greg, and Mitch Holmberg; and Chad, Cody, Brandon, and Justin Miller.
Bruce was pre-deceased by his parents Charles and Emily, his sister Doris Bean-Brennan, and step-daughter Jacqueline Throndson.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., from Our Lady of the Prairies Roman Catholic Church in Daysland, with Rev. Kathleen Taylor officiating. Luncheon followed the service in the church hall. Interment took place in the Daysland Cemetery.
Memorial tributes may be made to the Daysland Hospital Foundation, or the the Knox United Church, Daysland.
