Winston George Brett

(January 22, 1942 - July 16, 2018)

Winston George Brett of Camrose, Alberta, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018, at the age of 76 years.

Winston was born on January 22, 1942, in Grand Falls, Newfoundland. His family moved to Alberta in 1956 to Edson. Winston served five years in the Navy. He loved cars and trains. He was always smiling and loved being around people. 

In 1965, he met Wendy Thompson and they married in 1967. They raised four children in Edmonton, Ron and Ricki (Camrose), Robin (Nordegg), and Russell (Edmonton); three grandchildren Cody (Edmonton), Lacie (Nova Scotia), and Brandon (Camrose); and one great-grandchild Oliver (Nova Scotia). He was predeceased by his father, mother, sister, and two brothers. 
 

A time of Fellowship and Remembrance has taken place at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2018 from Winston's home, 5006 56 St Camrose. 

Inurnment will take place at a later date at the St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hay Lakes.
