Earl Edward Nelson

(July 18, 1947 - July 6, 2018)

Earl Edward Nelson of Camrose, Alberta, formerly of Bredenbury, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 6, 2018, at the age of 70 years. Earl was born in Vancouver, B.C, on July 18, 1947.

Earl resided in Bredenbury, SK until moving to Alberta in 1973, where he met Kathy, and they were married a year later. They lived in Lethbridge until they moved to Heisler where he worked at the mines until 1976, when they moved to Camrose. He was employed by Weyga Farms for 26 years, then due to health reasons he had to leave the farm and drove truck until his retirement at age 65. His retirement consisted of playing with his grandchildren, playing solitaire, spending time camping & spending time with his family.

Earl leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 44 years, Kathy; daughter, Khris (Randy) Morrison, granddaughter Kimberly; grandson Donovan; grandson Jesse (Koree) Gill, great-grandson Rizton; great-granddaughter Brezlynn, grandson Shayde Daley and daughter-in-law Kelly Gill. 

Earl was predeceased by his loving son Darcy Nelson, parents John and Clara Nelson and sister Shirley Torrie.

A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m., July 12, 2018, from the Burgar Memorial Chapel. Inurnment has taken place in the Camrose Valleyview Cemetery.
