Obituary of Roger Leo Weller

Roger Leo Weller, of Daysland, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018, at the age of 88 years.

He was born on Wednesday November 6, 1929 in Spring Lake, the son of the late Leo and the late Viola (née Krausert) Weller.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Brenda Brown (David Twitchell) of Sherwood Park, Jane Weller (Dale Magee) of Edmonton, Jim (Jaqueline) Weller of Daysland; daughter-in-law Peggy Weller (Barry Butler); six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and siblings Phyllis Bowie, Edward Weller, Dyann Niehaus and Judy Anonson.

Roger was predeceased by his wife Doreen; son David; brother Hugh; and sisters Kathleen Weller and Peggy Larson.

A Funeral Mass was held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from the Our Lady of the Prairies Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Carlos Nunez officiating. Interment has taken place in the Daysland Cemetery.
