Don Solverson of New Norway, Alberta passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the age of 83 years.
Don is survived by his loving wife Winona and six children; Richard (Sharon Mesaros) of Strathmore, Donna (Rick) Garvin of Edmonton, Doug of Edmonton, Bob of Edmonton, Kevin (Judy) of Gwynne and Karen (Ulf) Dahlin of Whitecourt; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren, three brothers Bill (Mary) of Camrose, Mike (Joan) of Edson, Jack (Helen) of New Norway; sisters Marie (Jack) Harper of Calgary, Mary Lynn of Ontario and numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by one son Colin, son-in-law Ray Anderson, and infant great grandson.
Funeral services were held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from the New Norway Community Hall with Mary Ann Pastuck officiating. Inurnment took place in the New Norway Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the charity of one's choice.
