Elizabeth Ann Petersen of Camrose passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the age of 92 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Kathi Stapleton of Calgary, Gerri (Roy) Unser of Taber, Joan Carriere of Camrose, Sandra (Gary) Duce of Lethbridge, Julie (Ernie) McDougall of Lethbridge, Barbara (Tim) Forre of Camrose and Carol (Stevan) Lindholm of New Norway; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Arthur Petersen; three brothers John, Dougald, Alexander; sisters Mary, Katherine, Teresa, and Frances.
A prayer vigil was held on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. from the Burgar Memorial Chapel.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Eduardo Escober as Celebrant. Cremation followed the service.
If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to St. Mary's Hospital Chapel Fund or Alberta Crohns and Colitis Fund.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Elizabeth
