Betty Mary (Trigg) Howery was born June 25th, 1929 at Provost, Alberta, the eighth child of Charles and Marie Trigg. She passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital the age of 80 years.
She is survived by her brothers Leslie (Frances) Trigg, Robert (Myrna) Trigg, sister Georgia (Lloyd) Hansen, sister-in-law Eileen Trigg, brothers-in-law Fraser McKay, Vic Howery, Ken (Marilyn) Howery, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty was predeceased by her first husband Alfred "Alfie" McMurray and her second husband Wesley "Wes" Howery, her parents Charles and Marie Trigg, five sisters Phyllis Manning, Bernice McNalley, Evelyn Beeton, Ethel Skene, and Kathleen Clark; and sister-in-law Marjorie (Howery) McKay.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Burgar Memorial Chapel (4817 51 Ave Camrose) with Rev. Jack Schulze officiating. A private family interment in the Camrose Cemetery followed the service.
Memorial Donations in memory of Betty may be made to S.T.A.R.S. or the Heart & Stroke Society or the charity of one's choice.
