Mrs. Anneliese Thomsen of Camrose, formerly of Rosalind passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the age of 82 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Carl; children Christine (Brant) Kennedy of Rosalind, Joseph (Janet) of Whitecourt, Andrew (Lorna) of Tyler, Texas, Jacqueline (Delmont) Badry of Hay Lakes, Francis (Leanne) of Wetaskiwin, Margaret (Donald) Falk of Camrose, Anthony (Janet) of Bittern Lake, Rudy (Jackie) of Chauvin, Elizabeth (Michael) McKay of Port Alberni, Martin (Dana) of Lethbridge and James (Kerri) of Coaldale; 26 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Anneliese is also survived by two brothers Herbert (Gilda) Henghuber of Burghausen Germany, Anthony (Otti) Henghuber of Stuttgart, Germany and two sisters Maria Gründner of Burghausen, Therese Gaus of Vernon, B.C.
She was predeceased by her twin boys Frances, and Timothy.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. from The Messiah Lutheran Church with Rev. Dean Rostad officiating. Interment followed in the Rosalind Roman Catholic Cemetery.
If friends so desire memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to The Open Door of Camrose, Camrose & District Home Support Society, or to Haiti Relief through the Canadian Red Cross.
