Mrs. Wilma Edna Swanson of Camrose passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with lung cancer on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at the age of 69 years.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Royce, her children Barbara Kellington (David) of Watson, Saskatchewan, Tracy (Rick) Caron of Saskatoon; her stepsons Terry Swanson of Burlington, Ontario and Allan (Carol) of Edmonton; nine grandchildren Scott Kellington, Derek Kellington, Lindsay Caron, Cassidy Caron, Nicholas Swanson, Kristian Swanson, Michael (Tamara) Swanson, Rachel (Luis) Carvalho, and Matthew (Rochelle) Swanson; and two great-grandchildren. Wilma is also survived by two sisters Florence (Selmer) Reierson of Niacam, Saskatchewan and Myrtle (Lorne) Briggs of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. from the Burgar Memorial Chapel (4817 51 Ave Camrose) with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating. Interment followed in the Camrose Cemetery.
