Mrs. Ethel Nordin of Camrose passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the age of 87 years.
She was survived by her son Don (Doreen) MacKenzie of Dugald, Manitoba; two grandchildren Rhonda(Mike) Kamann of Winfield B.C, Scott MacKenzie of Dugald, Manitoba; and four great-grandchildren Connor, Eric, Brooklyn, and Falon. She is also survived by her brothers Walter (Shirley) Whiting of Saskatoon, Stan (Doreen)Whiting of Saskatoon, Harold (Fran) Whiting of Saskatchewan; and one sister Helen Cusator of Saskatoon.
She was predeceased by her husband Ernest , sisters Lillian, Doris, and brothers George, Dave and Merrill.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Wilhelmina Lutheran Church, East Hay Lakes District with Pastor Greg Kjos officiating. Interment followed in the cemetery.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to St. Mary's Hospital Cancer Unit, or the Wilhelmina Lutheran Church.
