Mrs. Florence Annie Rancier of Camrose, formerly of Killam passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at the age of 105 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her nine children: William (Lorraine) of Bashaw, Irene Mickelson of Camrose, Howard (Liz) of Grande Prairie, Hazel (Ron) McCaig of Camrose, Joyce Raugust of Wetaskiwin, Glen (Rita) of Shawano, Wisconsin, Doris (Ralph) Harpold of Moosemin, Saskatchewan, Larry (Faye) of Ft. McMurray and Mildred (Ron) Kowatch of Rocky Mountain House. Florence is also survived by 37 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren; her brother Jim (Joanne) Taylor of Edmonton and sister Bert Robinson of Edmonton.
Florence was predeceased by her husband George, daughter Margaret, son Oliver, two sons-in-law Ronald and Bob, and one sister Lilly.
Funeral services were held on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. from the Burgar Memorial Chapel in Camrose with Pastor Richard Schultz officiating. Interment took place prior to the service in the Killam Cemetery.
