Lorenz Wenig of Camrose, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2009 at the age of 65 years, with his loving wife Joyce by his side.
Lorenz is survived by his wife Joyce; Son Shane(Cathy) of Camrose; daughters Kim (Corey) Nordin of Hay Lakes, Loreen (Colin) McCann of West Bank, B.C. and Cindy Wenig (Aaron Taylor) of Bashaw; eight Grandchildren, Ashley, Kayla, Connor, Christopher, Sydnie, Eric, Ethan, Taylor and Joshua; two brothers, Rupert (Aline) of Camrose and Elwood (Jean) of Saskatchewan; three sisters, Eileen (Jake) DeBoer of Camrose, Linda Vandenberg of Camrose and Rita (Bill) Webster of Camrose and one sister inlaw Corinne Wenig of Quebec.
Lorenz was predeceased by his parents, Esther and Joseph; and two brothers Alois and Conrad.
Funeral services were held on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 1:00 pm from the Camrose United Church,with Dr. Alan Richards officiating.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Stollery Childrens Hospital Foundation.
