Mrs. Gwen Sandstrom of Camrose passed away on Friday, March 13, 2009 at the age of 63 years.
Gwen is survived by her loving husband of 43 ½ years Dennis; two daughters, Connie (Larry) Kosinski of Camrose and Krista (Preston) LeClercq of Camrose; and four grandchildren, Brad, Brandi, Desyrae and Keandra. She is also survived by her mother Ethel; two brothers: Jim (Jean) Arrowsmith of Calgary and Les (Shauna) Arrowsmith of Ferintosh and five sisters: Linda (Dave) Dougherty of Calgary, Charlotte (Frank) Caron of Calgary, Audrey Arrowsmith of Calgary, Mary Jane (Ward) Bicknell, and Clara (Mike) Barry of Victoria.
Gwen was predeceased by her son Bradley in 1967, sister Marilyn, brother Ryan, and father Albert.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from the Messiah Lutheran Church with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating. Interment followed in the Camrose Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to St. Mary's Hospital Cancer Treatment Ward.
