Mrs. OIive Steen of Camrose, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009 with her family by her side, at the age of 87 years.
Olive is survived by her children: Linda Steen of Calgary, and Robert (Joyce) Steen of Sylvan Lake; two grandchildren, Tina and Jeff; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother David (Marj) Orr of Kamsack, SK; sisters: Jean (Bob) Kutz and Alwin "Bubbles" Davies, both of Glaslyn, SK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Olive was predeceased by her husband Bud in 1979, brother Ken Orr, and sister Mary Latimer.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., from the Camrose United Church with Mary Ann Pastuck officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Saskatchewan.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Camrose United Church, the Alberta Cancer Foundation, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
