Mrs. Vera Sanders of Bittern Lake, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2009 in St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 76 years.
Vera is survived by her loving husband Carl, children: Debra (John) Davison of Camrose and Darryl (Theresa) Sanders of Bittern Lake, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.
Vera was predeceased by her parents and infant sister.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 1:30 p.m., from the Burgar Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brian Hunter (St. Mary's Hospital Pastoral Care) and Rev. Alan Richards officiating. Inurnment will take place in the spring in the Bittern Lake Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation or to the charity of your choice.
