Mr. Peter McAllister Mailer of Camrose, formerly of Cadogan (near Provost), passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2008 in the St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 85 years.
Left to cherish his memory are: his loving wife Mary; 6 sons: James (Sandra) of Stettler, Bruce of Calgary, Bryon (Denise), Karle (Maxine), and Lloyd all of Cadogan; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Peter is also survived by his sisters Janet and Carol and brother Bryce.
Peter was predeceased by his parents; three brothers: David, Bill, and Raymond; two sisters: Edith and Robin; one son, David Anthony; and one great-granddaughter, Sierra.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 2:00pm., from Messiah Lutheran Church (4810-50 St.) in Camrose with Rev. Brian Hunter (St. Mary's Hospital Pastoral Care) officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Cadogan Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Stollery Children's Hospital, the Cadogan Cemetery Fund, or the Gordon Russel Crystal Kids Youth Center (8718-118 Ave., Edm, T5B 0T1).
