Geneva Helmig of Rosalind, passed away on Saturday December 6, 2008 at the age of 78 years.
She is survived by her husband Jim, and three children; Jack (Cindy) of Rosalind, Rita Helmig (Larry Gibson) of Camrose and Judy Helmig (Kevin Glebe) of Sherwood Park, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, five brothers and one sister, numerous relatives and friends.
Geneva was predeceased by her parents Jack and Bertha, an infant sister and one sister Laura Sand.
Funeral services were held on Saturday December 13, 2008 at 10:00am from the Rosalind Hall, Rosalind, Alberta.
Inurnment followed in the Greenview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are gratefully accepted to the Daysland Hospital Palliative care or to Alberta Cancer Foundation or to a charity of one's choice.
