Alec Raymond Hamel of Camrose, passed way on Monday, December 1, 2008 at the age of 76 years.
Alec is survived by his eight children, Darlene (Rick) McNiven of Sherwood Park, Ed (Debbie) Hamel of Camrose, Cheryl Hamel of Camrose, Wendy (Jim) Gibson of Camrose, Kevin Hamel of Calgary, Lorie (Rob) Hands of Calgary, Tracy (Greg) Slater of Camrose, Daren (Nicole) Hamel of Airdrie, fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters, numerous relatives and friends.
Alec was predeceased by his wife Velma and one son Gerald and one daughter Patsy and numerous brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held on Saturay December 6, 2008 at 11:00am from the Burgar Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Brian Hunter officiating .
Interment followed in the Camrose Cemetery
A Memorial Tree was planted for Alec
