Mrs. Eva Makarowski (nee Kalita) formerly of Daysland, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at the Viking Extendicare at the age of 94 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Lawrence, Jean (George), Irene (Ervin), Milton (Celine), and Doris (Kenny); 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Eva was predeceased by her husband Steve in 1994; granddaughter Christine; daughter-in-law Audrey; sister Annie; and brothers: John, Nick, Alex, Bill, and Steve.
Prayer services were held on Monday, December 1, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. from the Burgar Memorial Chapel in Camrose (4817-51 Ave). Divine Liturgy was held on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from Kopernick Ukrainian Catholic Church with Rev. Slavko Dumec as celebrant. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
