Obituary of Adeline Wight

Adeline Katherine Wight passed away on November 20, 2008 at the age of 69 years. She will be remembered for her strength, courage, independence and generosity. She has touched and inspired many lives. Adeline enjoyed life by spending time with family and friends. We have been blessed to have had her in our lives and we cherish every moment we had with her. She will be deeply missed. Adeline was a devoted and loving mother, wife and grandmother, leaving behind her husband John; two daughters, Denise (Robert) Renman, Sherry Odegard as well as three stepsons David, Mark and Nelson and one stepdaughter Laurel; three grandchildren Jessica, Karly and Amalia and five step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers. As a mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend, Adeline will forever be loved and missed. The knowledge, memories and love she has gave us will be cherished forever. Funeral services were held on Monday, November 24, 2008 from Messiah Lutheran Church at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. David Eriksson officiating. Interment followed in the Meeting Creek Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Adeline to the ALS Society of Alberta.
